Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Address: 190 Bree St, Gardens, Cape Town, 8001, South Africa
Sexy Food was largely inspired by a 17 year old’s cancer diagnosis which led to researching the Cape Town organic farm scene. Healthy, natural, and earthy ways to eat are the center focus for this company. The vibe is simple, laid-back, and eclectic. Their menu offers breakfast, bun-less burgers, sexy salads, organic smoothies and juices, and more. My personal favorite is a salad with Crispy Tempeh Slices. Yum!

2. The Hungry Herbivore
Hours: Tuesday-Wednesday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Thursday-Saturday 9 a.m. – 10 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Mondays closed
Address: 11 Orphan St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000, South Africa
The Hungry Herbivore is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for unhealthy foods made healthy (a dream come true, really). They are a plant based company who operates a restaurant as well as manufacturing snacks. Their incredible food ranges from an assortment of pastries, coffee, pizza, pasta, waffles, and more. If you’re looking for an amazing lunch or dinner, try the Spaghetti Alfredo. It’s almost too good to be real.

3. Raw and Roxy
Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Address: 8 Bree St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000, South
One of the pioneers of vegan culture in Cape Town, Raw and Roxy only serves raw vegan food. You’d have never guessed that from the name though, right? They specialize in super foods, which is awesome for people who are really serious about not additives in their food. Their Rocket Fuel smoothie has over 200 different super foods in it and will leave you feeling like you’re ready to run a marathon. Yes, please!

4. Scheckter’s Raw
Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Address: 98 Regent Rd, Sea Point, Cape Town, 8060, South Africa
Another raw vegan restaurant, Scheckter’s is my favorite vegan place to go for a warm cup of tea on a rainy day. The company is very into the idea that foods can heal the mind and body, so it’s a great place to go to clear your mind and cleanse your body. Try the Organic Yeba Mate Tea and the probiotic salad for a power food lunch!
